ArtBeat is an application for children.Itfeatures various interactive activities and tutorials aboutshapesand colors.It is mainly composed of three parts: Draw It, Learn It andPlayIt.- Draw It is like paint, where the user can draw or color freelyona blank page, and these drawing can be saved in thedevicegallery.- Learn It features tutorials about basic shapes and colors,andthen starts an activity right after the tutorial. For shapes,theuser will be asked to trace an outline of the chosen shape.Forcolors, the user will be asked to choose the object that hasthecolor he/she has just learned.- Play It features various kinds of games about shapesandcolors.
CodeIT 2.0
The purpose of CodeIT is to contribute tothelearning of basic programming concepts and languages, especiallytofreshmen college students, who will be the target users ofthisapplication. With the interactive tutorial it provides,studentswill gain basic knowledge about programming through theirhandhelddevices.The application gives set of modules for the students tochoosefrom. Within those modules, the system gives informationabout thelesson, like basic programming concepts, logic andalgorithm facts,as well as the language and vocabulary ofprogramming.A randomized set of questions with instructions will beprovidedper module, and the students must answer these forpractice,providing have an interactive experience. The response oftheinteractive tutorial will depend on how the student interactswithit. An assessment after each lecture will also be giventodetermine if the student is ready to proceed to the next module.Indeveloping the mobile application, Java will be used bythedevelopers to create the application and the availableresourcesneeded to develop the application for the AndroidOperatingSystem.The developers are hoping that many freshmen studentswillbenefit from CodeIT upon the deployment of the application.

The application is a capstone projectbystudents in the University of Santo Tomas that aims toshareinformation about desktop system unit components. Intended forhighschool students taking up a basic computer course inthePhilippines, the application consists of concepts onvariouscomputer components, and activity modules which includes 3Dobjectsto better picture of how a PC system unit isactuallyassembled.
